"Celebrate Each Student" So far, 44% of our school families are participating in this year's Annual Fund! We are pleased and thankful for these gifts to our campaign. However, we are far from our goal of 100% family participation. Every gift is important, no matter the amount, so we urge you to please consider participating if you have not done so already. Please click here to see a list of these participating families. Many families are surprised to learn that tuition covers only 88% of the cost of educating our students. Gifts to the Annual Fund help bridge the gap between tuition income and the full cost of a CES education. It allows the school to keep tuition at an affordable level for as many families as possible. Your gift to the Annual Fund makes a real difference in your child’s education and experience at Christ Episcopal School. Our goal this year is to exceed the almost $196,000 raised by last year's Annual Fund. We have also set a parent participation goal of 100%. Last year just about half of the CES families made a gift to the Annual Fund. This year we are hoping that every family can make a gift. It is important for every Christ Episcopal family to participate in the fund for two reasons. First, major foundations and other donors consider parental participation as an important indicator when granting money for capital and endowment campaigns. Secondly, if every family participates, we can easily reach our dollar goal and this will help us keep our tuition levels as low as possible. Please seriously consider giving as some level this year. Each year we receive gifts from $1 to $25,000. Your support is as important as the amount of your gift. Please be as generous as possible. You may contribute to the Annual Fund by mailing a check directly to the School or by pledging an amount which can be paid anytime until June 30th (our fiscal year end).
