Student Council: Committee DescriptionsCubs and Cats - This committee works with groups from the lower school to accomplish service learning tasks and foster bonds of friendship between lower and middle school students. Specific activities are planned and carried out during student council meeting times! This committee makes connections! Spirit - This committee promotes school spirit and organizes holiday celebrations. Members of this committee keep us cheering for the Wild Cats and help us celebrate! Bake Sale - This committee runs monthly bake sales to raise money for those in need. Even or odd grades bring the goodies on alternating months. These committee members keep people smiling while they reach out to others! Lost & Found - This committee encourages the student body to label all belongings. Members of the committee return lost items to their owners and donate long-unclaimed items to the needy. These student council remind us to take care of our belongings! Campus - This committee helps beautify the campus and maintain the grounds. Members of this committee help keep our school looking great! Environment - This committee focuses on the care of the environment. Members of this committee study and support the ecology of the ponds and maintain the fountain, the gardens, the bird feeders, etc. They use creative ways to educate others about taking care of the planet while taking care of our beautiful surroundings! Chapel - This committee assists in chapel presentations and Eucharists. They help us use our gifts as we celebrate what is really important in life! Outreach - This committee works with our Service Learning Program to help the needy.These students do a good job of lending a helping hand to the young, the elderly, and the sick. Library - This committee assists in the collecting and sorting of books to be shelved in the school library. This committee keeps the books in line! Box Tops - This committee is responsible for collecting, sorting, counting, and mailing product labels to be redeemed for educational materials.
