←back to How to Make a Gift Stock Transfer Instructions Donors wishing to make a gift of securities to The Christ Episcopal School should place their instructions to their broker or investment adviser in a letter which includes the following information:
1. Name of the security
2. The number of shares or approximate amount of gift
3. The purpose of the gift (Annual Fund, Keys To Our Future, Endowment, etc.)
In the letter, they should also ask their broker to contact Christ Episcopal School’s Business/Advancement Manager before the actual transfer is made. We will then insure that A.G. Edwards is prepared to receive the securities, sell them promptly, and follow up with appropriate tax documentation of the gift.
