Kindergarten Creative Arts
The children participate in a broad range of activities and mediums that will encourage an individuals creativity. The creative arts are interwoven throughout the curriculum in each class in addition to specific enrichment classes in Art, Movement and Music. Additional enrichments the children engage in during the week are Spanish, Christian Education and Physical Education.
Kindergarten Mathmatics
The mathematical concepts our program is a hands-on program. The children participate in mathematical activities throughout the day either individually with manipulative, small group learning during center time and whole group learning during circle time.
Kindergarten Curriculum Overview
The kindergarten program at CES offers open-ended, hands-on activities which allow each child to work at their own developmental pace across all domains.
Kindergarten Language
The language arts program is primarily a natural language program. We strive to instill a love of reading and writing in each child. We use and integrated approach where all concepts and activities are taught under a common theme and the basic skills are introduced and taught in the context of books we read and things we write.
