FIRST GRADE - Angel Bears - the children make these bears with the help of moms, big friends at school, and residents at Christwood. The bears are delivered to St. Tammany Parish Hospital where they are given to children who come to the hospital for medical care. A visit to the hospital is part of the student's learning.

SECOND GRADE - Meals at Home - the children make a monthly seasonal craft and a written work (i.e., poem, letter) for the recipients of the Meals at Home program. The purpose of this learning program is to teach the children about the "Meals at Home" service and to be mindful of people who are unable to prepare their own meals. Also, we hope to brighten up each recipient's tray monthly with a creative idea to let him or her know we care. The children travel the delivery route and will meet some of the recipients of their projects.
- Mailboxes for Habitat for Humanity Homes - 2nd grade establishes a Post Office business on campus. Through the sale of specially designed stationery and stamps, funds are raised to purchase mailboxes for new Habitat homes, which the students install.

THIRD GRADE - Gardening
- Beautification at the Christwood Blvd. Campus

FOURTH GRADE - Food Bank* coordinators. Learn about the work of the Food Bank through an on-site visit. Advertise Food Drives to the student body, collect and count donations.
- Eucharist preparation - flower arrangements, baking of bread, and altar preparation

FIFTH GRADE - Parent with a public school 2nd grade for a literacy project
- Food Drive* contributions throughout the year (3)

SIXTH GRADE - Caritas* Ministry in Montessori classroom and through art at our campus.
- Meals on Wheels work in conjunction with the 2nd grade
- Angel Bears project and tour of St. Tammany Hospital in conjunction with 1st grade.
- With Thankful Hearts (Christmas gift giving), Christmas party and Easter celebration for the children of the Caritas Ministry
SEVENTH GRADE - Covington Early Head Start and Covington Head Start* partners

- Feed My Sheep Vegetable Garden planted and maintained by students with harvest taken to Covington Food Bank
EIGHTH GRADE - Greater Starlight Baptist Church Kiddie Kollege* - assist in teaching 3-4 years old class

- Teaches Spanish to CES Pre Kindergarten

MUSIC - Our award winning Choir performs concerts during Easter at Christwood and other locations as requested.
